He is a graduate of the well renowned Berklee College of Music.He has studied in New York with Fred Hersch and in Boston with Ray Santisi. Willie has produced three recordings as bandleader and his music has been featured radio stations nationwide.In 1996, Willie created the wildly successful program, JazzKids®. Designed to teach children as young as six-years-old how to play Jazz and improvise, JazzKids has been used by thousands of teachers worldwide.Willie is also the founder of JazzPianoLessons.com has an active student base from every continent and continues to grow daily by giving students the option of learning Willie’s easy, step-by-step method online through a membership or via DVD.In 2008, Willie also formed FunkPianoLessons.com, another online piano lesson site design to teach students funk piano and contemporary grooves, "phat" chords and more.Willie has performed/shared the stage with members of James Brown,Parliament Funkadelic, 420 Funk Mob, The Dixie Chicks and many other incredible musicians that he feels blessed to have worked with!

INS is a music conference series that deals with all the many aspects of running a band professionally, independently, successfully, and ethically. The panels give people the chance to meet decision-makers who run the music industry, ask them down-to-earth questions, and receive straightforward answers. Each session seeks to explicate a different aspect of the music industry, such as how the A&R process works, how to find (or become) a band manager, how to get online and print publicity, and how to find legal representation.

Hi,
Samples in Motion represents my personal journey in collaborative soundsculptures. The intent is to share with the audience how I construct and deconstruct soundscapes and compositions from synthesized sources or ambient microphone recordings. I describe the process I use to come to those results. I make source material available to allow the listener to submit his or hers own work, which I then use in the show.
