Video Podcast! Daily Planet TV is a humorous and timely look at the current events and news in advanced technology, and general weird news from around the world. Subjects cover everything from robotics, to podcasting, particle physics, politics and astronomy. Our show is 6-10 minutes long and is aimed at providing short form focused technology stories and news. Lucian (the host) works for a think tank as a strategic technology analyst. As part of his job, he gets access to incredible amounts of information. Much of this is not publicly available. We have run stories and shown videos that have never been seen before we video podcast it. For instance, on Saturday September 3, we ran a clip of the musician Charmaine Neville (daughter of one of the Neville Brothers) relating her heroic struggle to save dozens of old and handicapped neighbors after New Orleans flooded. This footage was not widely seen anywhere. We also had amazing action footage of the new worker robot from Japan the HRP model 3 (Humanoid Robot Platform) before any other outlet (Daily Planet for September 14). We had access from the lab before it was released anywhere else. This type of content is designed for iPod TV owners.
